And I thought it was humid in Missouri...

Arrived in San Jose Costa Rica about three this afternoon.  Had a few minor delays leaving Houston but nothing major, just the airline overbooking the flight.  We were the last of our group to arrive in Costa Rica, so as soon as we landed we were off.  Our bus driver played a little bumper car along the way so we got to experience the Costa Rican police as well as the fact that we had to wait for the insurance company to send out a representative to assess the damage on the spot.  We drove across the mountains and were able to catch our first glimpse of a rain forest intermixed with the rain and fog as the sun was setting.  Arrived on EARTH campus about 6:45 and just made it to our rooms for the next few weeks.  I will post pictures tomorrow of the campus and my room because it is already dark outside and raining (surprise, surprise).  By the way happy Mother's Day Mom, hope you had a great day even though you had to tell me goodbye this morning!
